A Few Words About Me

Dr. Worokya Duncan is a professional educator and professional learning expert with over 27 years of experience, a Doctoral-level education, completed coursework for an ICF Certified Coach Program, a great deal of energy, and a commitment to students. Throughout her career, she has taught students from ages 3 to 50 in a variety of subjects, including United States History, Literacy, and Science. Her primary focus is to ensure that everyone leaves her presence feeling heard and ready to make the world a better place.  From workshops and institutes to short talks at schools or business organizations, Worokya informs, enlightens, and engages.  She works hard to instill a sense of pride, and community and motivates people to set higher standards. She takes time to connect with everyone she meets, demonstrating genuine sensitivity. Through an ongoing process of planning, delivering, reflecting, and refining, she has been consistently successful at balancing an individual’s needs with the needs of the larger organization.

Dr. Duncan holds degrees in Public Policy Studies, Political Science, Theology, and Education, specifically in Curriculum and Instruction. Through professional development sessions, lectures, workshops, executive coaching, and seminars, Dr. Duncan illuminates the hidden and often ignored issues affecting education, corporate culture, and the greater community.
